CONCEPT

While creating content through Surface’s Twitter platform, I used stock images from Microsoft’s Brand Central to create still ads through Photoshop and Illustrator.

OVERALL GOAL

Showcase Surface devices in a fun and creative way to assist in seasonal marketing campaigns.

VISUAL STRATEGY

For the holiday season, our strategy was to find ways to integrate holiday themes to promote our products.

RESULTS

The first holiday campaign became a hit, where the clients were thrilled with its results.

Within just 6 months of taking over Surface’s Twitter platform, we saw a +489% YoY increase in engagement, a +686% YoY increase in video views, and a +686% YoY increase in owned positive sentiment. Surface performed 243% above predicted fiscal year target for total engagements.


PERSONALIZED CREATIVE

concept

2022 was the 10 year anniversary of Microsoft Surface and my client wanted to adopt something similar to the Windows personalized creative program to celebrate. Our main goal was to increase unaided brand awareness and expand the Surface fan base.

strategy

We started by identifying the smaller types of niche audiences we already had. At the end of these conversations, we'd surprise & delight them with a custom design, tailored to their personality and interests. ​

RESULTS

Our Superfans were thrilled with their custom illustrations, cross-promoting across their social media platforms! Over the months, we were able to expand our audience base, earning new users and expanding unaided awareness using relationship-building and design.
